LAS VEGAS — A new kind of immersive entertainment is about to arrive in Southern Nevada. Beginning July 30, internationally acclaimed DARKFIELD will make its Las Vegas debut at AREA15, inviting guests to step inside three psychological experiences that replace visuals with sound, imagination and suspense.
Located in Zone 2: The Terminals at AREA15, DARKFIELD introduces visitors to three unique productions—SÉANCE, FLIGHT and PLACEBO. Each experience lasts about 20 minutes and unfolds entirely in darkness, creating a deeply personal journey that feels different for every guest.
Unlike traditional attractions that rely on elaborate visuals, DARKFIELD challenges audiences to trust only what they hear and feel. As a result, every sound, movement and scent becomes part of an immersive story that blurs the boundary between reality and imagination.

Three unforgettable immersive adventures
DARKFIELD has earned worldwide recognition for transforming custom-built shipping containers into realistic environments. Guests enter a carefully designed physical setting before the lights disappear completely.
Once darkness takes over, 360-degree binaural audio surrounds each participant. This advanced recording technique mirrors the way people naturally hear sounds, making voices and effects appear to move around the listener. Combined with subtle motion and carefully placed scents, the experience becomes remarkably convincing.

Each production offers a different psychological journey:
- SÉANCE explores supernatural themes through a mysterious séance led by an unseen medium.
- FLIGHT places audiences aboard an aircraft where two versions of reality unfold at the same time.
- PLACEBO invites guests into a clinical setting where they drift into a shared dream that questions perception itself.
Although everyone experiences the same performance, individual reactions often vary, making every visit unique.

Complete darkness becomes the special effect
According to producer Nathan Alexander of Realscape Productions, removing visual cues is what makes DARKFIELD so powerful.
“When the lights disappear, the mind searches for something familiar,” Alexander explained. “Because guests have already seen the environment before darkness begins, their brains naturally accept what follows as real.”
Co-founder and Artistic Director Glen Neath believes Las Vegas is an ideal location for the internationally celebrated attraction.
He said the city has built its reputation on unforgettable entertainment while continually embracing innovative experiences. Therefore, DARKFIELD offers visitors something entirely different by allowing imagination—not technology or visual effects—to become the star of the show.

An international success arrives in Las Vegas
Since launching internationally, DARKFIELD has welcomed more than 750,000 guests worldwide. Its productions have appeared at major cultural events, including the Venice Film Festival, Tribeca Festival and SXSW.
Now, Las Vegas joins a growing list of global destinations hosting the acclaimed attraction.
The experience is presented by Realscape Productions, longtime collaborators responsible for producing and touring DARKFIELD across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the United States since 2017.
Affordable ticket options available
Tickets are now on sale with pricing designed for guests who want to experience one, two or all three attractions.
Monday through Thursday pricing starts at $20 for one experience, $35 for two and $45 for all three.
Friday through Sunday pricing begins at $25 for one experience, $40 for two and $50 for all three.
Sessions run daily from 4 p.m. until 10:30 p.m., with departures approximately every 20 minutes. Organizers recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before your scheduled time.
The attraction is recommended for guests ages 13 and older. Visitors younger than 18 must attend with an adult. Additionally, selected performances throughout the week will be available in Spanish.
Another major addition to AREA15
DARKFIELD continues AREA15’s rapid expansion of immersive entertainment offerings inside Zone 2: The Terminals.
The district already features attractions including Universal Horror Unleashed, Interstellar Arc, Museum of Ice Cream Las Vegas, The Escape Game, Nacho Daddy, and several upcoming concepts that continue transforming the area into one of the world’s leading destinations for immersive experiences.
Having it’s focus on psychology instead of spectacle, DARKFIELD introduces a completely different style of entertainment to Las Vegas. Rather than asking audiences to watch a story unfold, it invites them to experience one through sound, imagination and the limitless power of the human mind.
