LAS VEGAS — One of the Las Vegas Strip’s best-known nightlife destinations is preparing for a major return.
XS Nightclub at Wynn Las Vegas will celebrate its grand reopening Thursday, Nov. 5, following an extensive redesign. Wynn Nightlife plans a four-night opening celebration featuring RÜFÜS DU SOL, The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris and a back-to-back performance from Diplo and HUGEL.
The reopening marks a new chapter for XS Nightclub as the venue celebrates 17 years in Las Vegas. Wynn says the redesigned club will combine refreshed interiors and innovative technology with the atmosphere that helped build the XS name.
XS Nightclub Plans Four Nights of Music
Wynn Nightlife will start the grand reopening celebration on Thursday, Nov. 5, with RÜFÜS DU SOL performing a DJ set.
The Chainsmokers take over XS on Friday, Nov. 6. Calvin Harris follows on Saturday, Nov. 7. Diplo and HUGEL will close the four-night celebration with a back-to-back set on Sunday, Nov. 8. Wynn says additional talent announcements will follow.
The lineup also brings several artists back to a venue that has played an important role in their Las Vegas careers.
The Chainsmokers said they have shared some of their favorite nights at XS and have watched the nightclub evolve through the years.
Calvin Harris also has a long history with the venue.
“I’ve played some incredible nights at XS,” Harris said, calling it one of his favorite places to perform in Las Vegas.
Diplo described XS as a place that feels like home after performing there many times throughout his career.
Wynn Gives XS Nightclub a New Look
The reopening involves more than bringing major DJs back to the stage.
Wynn Nightlife says XS is undergoing a complete reimagining. While the resort has not revealed every detail of the redesign, the new venue will feature updated interiors and new technology.
The goal is to modernize the nightclub without losing the experience that made XS a major name in Las Vegas nightlife.
“XS has always represented the intersection of exceptional entertainment, design, and hospitality,” Adam Norotsky, vice president of Wynn Nightlife, said in announcing the reopening.
Norotsky said the new era will build on that history while creating the next evolution of the club.
XS has spent nearly two decades attracting major electronic music artists and building high-profile Las Vegas residencies. The reopening lineup reflects that history by bringing back performers who have longstanding relationships with Wynn Nightlife.
A New Chapter for Las Vegas Nightlife
The timing also places the reopening during a busy fall period on the Las Vegas Strip.
Rather than simply reopening its doors after renovations, Wynn is turning the return into a four-day destination event. Each night offers a different headliner while showcasing the redesigned club for visitors and Las Vegas residents.
The changes come as Strip nightlife venues continue investing in new concepts, technology and entertainment experiences to compete for visitors.
For XS, the strategy combines something familiar with something new. Wynn is keeping the club’s established identity while updating the space for its next generation of guests.
After 17 years, XS Nightclub remains an important part of Wynn’s entertainment lineup. Its November reopening will give Las Vegas its first look at how one of the Strip’s most recognizable nightlife venues plans to begin its next chapter.
