Cincinnati Open — Credit One Bank combined tennis, financial education and community outreach during its partnership with the Cincinnati Open. The Las Vegas-based company used the major sporting event to connect with fans while sharing practical lessons about credit and responsible financial decisions.
The Cincinnati Open was named the 2025 ATP and WTA 1000-Level Tournament of the Year. It welcomed a record 285,571 attendees last year, giving Credit One Bank a valuable opportunity to reach tennis fans through educational activities, special promotions and memorable experiences.

Tennis Strategy Meets Financial Education
One of the featured attractions was the Credit One Credit Commentary Corner. Tennis legend Tracy Austin joined former professional players Sam Querrey, John Isner and Steve Johnson, hosts of the Nothing Major podcast, for conversations about tennis and personal finance.
The discussions connected the preparation, discipline and decision-making required in tennis with habits that can help consumers manage credit. By presenting financial information through familiar moments from the sport, Credit One Bank made the subject more approachable for people attending the tournament.
Fans also met “The Credit Wreckers,” characters created by Credit One Bank to explain common credit challenges in an entertaining way. Visitors could take photographs, receive useful credit tips and pose with featured tennis players during scheduled autograph sessions.

Memorable Experiences for Tennis Fans
Credit One Bank added excitement through seat upgrades and a sweepstakes offering two winners a VIP Finals Weekend. The prize included finals tickets, champion meet-and-greets and a special behind-the-scenes tour of the tournament.
These activities gave fans opportunities that extended beyond watching matches. They also demonstrated how a sports partnership can create personal connections while delivering information that people can use in their everyday financial lives.

Supporting Young People in Cincinnati
The bank’s community involvement reached beyond the tournament grounds through a partnership with Inner City Youth Opportunities. Together, the organizations hosted a tennis clinic that introduced local children to the sport in an encouraging and welcoming setting.
Participants learned tennis skills, built confidence and experienced a professional tournament environment firsthand. The clinic reflected Credit One Bank’s wider goal of supporting programs that provide young people with opportunities for personal growth, education and healthy activity.
Credit One Bank’s Cincinnati Open partnership went beyond traditional brand exposure. By bringing together financial wellness, youth programming and interactive fan experiences, the bank created a meaningful presence both on and off the court.
Founded in 1984, Credit One Bank is headquartered in Las Vegas and offers credit cards, savings accounts and certificates of deposit. The company is also an official partner of the Las Vegas Raiders and the official credit card of NASCAR and the Vegas Golden Knights.
