Las Vegas —Silverado Steak House at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa received another national honor after earning the prestigious 2026 DiRōNA Award of Excellence. The restaurant has now earned the distinction for a second consecutive year.
The award places Silverado among distinguished restaurants across North America. DiRōNA evaluates honorees on several parts of the guest experience, including the menu, wine program, service and atmosphere.
DiRōNA stands for Distinguished Restaurants of North America, and the organization highlights restaurants that deliver memorable meals with reliable hospitality. Its recognition gives diners another way to identify establishments that meet demanding standards. For a Las Vegas restaurant competing in one of the country’s busiest dining markets, repeat honors carry added weight this year.

A team achievement at South Point
Michael Kennedy, director of food and beverage at South Point, credited the restaurant’s employees for the back-to-back recognition. He said the award reflects the team’s dedication and its continued focus on giving every guest an exceptional evening.
Kennedy also pointed to the restaurant’s cuisine, wine selection, attentive service and inviting setting. Together, those details have helped Silverado build a dining experience that feels polished without losing the warmth expected from a classic Las Vegas steakhouse.

Classic steakhouse favorites lead the menu
Silverado Steak House serves hand-selected, custom-cut steaks alongside seafood and other carefully prepared entrées. Current selections include filet mignon, New York strip, bone-in ribeye, lamb chops, grilled salmon and Chilean sea bass.
Guests can begin with choices such as oysters on the half shell, seared scallops, lobster tacos or house-smoked baby back ribs. In addition, steaks and chops come with a Silverado salad tossed tableside and a choice of potato or fresh vegetables.
Dessert options give diners several ways to finish the meal. Crème brûlée, molten chocolate cake, cheesecake and warm New Orleans-style beignets appear among the restaurant’s sweet selections.

Wine, service and atmosphere matter
The DiRōNA Award considers much more than the food arriving at the table. Its standards also recognize a restaurant’s wine list, hospitality and surroundings, making consistency across the full dining experience especially important.
At Silverado, warm lighting and rich wood details create a comfortable setting for celebrations, date nights and relaxed dinners. Meanwhile, the wine program gives guests pairing options for both steaks and seafood.
Reservations available nightly
Silverado Steak House opens daily at 4:30 p.m. and serves dinner until 10 p.m. The restaurant has a casual dress code, and guests can reserve a table online or call 702-797-8075.
South Point sits at 9777 Las Vegas Boulevard South. Beyond Silverado, the resort offers more than 2,100 rooms, a large casino, several restaurants, live entertainment, a movie complex, bowling facilities and an extensive equestrian center.
For Silverado, the second consecutive DiRōNA honor adds another respected award to its record. More importantly, it recognizes the people who prepare the meals, guide guests through the menu and create the welcoming service behind each visit.
