LAS VEGAS — Emerging musicians in Las Vegas have a new chance to take their music to a global stage. Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas is joining Hard Rock Rising, a worldwide music competition created by Hard Rock International and Coca-Cola.
The competition spans 34 countries and 64 Hard Rock Cafes. It is open to emerging singer-songwriters, bands and DJs looking for their next big break.
Artist submissions are open now through Aug. 18, 2026. Artists must submit two original songs to enter.
Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas will host four live competition rounds on Sept. 2, 9, 16 and 23.
Las Vegas Fans Help Choose the Winner
Fans will play a major role in the Las Vegas competition. Audience members will vote during the live performances through a mobile app.
Artists will be judged on musicianship, fan support, vocal talent, originality and stage presence.
The fourth round will determine the Las Vegas winner. That artist will receive a cash prize and an opportunity for a three-month paid residency.
The local winner will also advance to the global competition.
“Hard Rock Rising gives us the opportunity to showcase the incredible musical talent right here in Las Vegas,” said Jason Lent, Sales & Marketing Manager at Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas.
Global Winner Gets Major Music Package
The Coke Studio team will review recorded performances from the local winners. A global champion will be announced Oct. 5.
The winner will receive a recording session at Coke Studio L.A. Live, along with flights and accommodations.
The prize package also includes $10,000, music distribution across major streaming platforms and a performance at Hard Rock Orlando.
The winner will also receive a two-night stay at Hard Rock Hotel Orlando. Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure passes are included. Marshall amplifiers and accessories are also part of the prize.
Hard Rock Rising Menu Comes to Las Vegas
The competition will go beyond the stage.
From Aug. 17 through Sept. 30, Hard Rock Cafe Las Vegas will offer a special Hard Rock Rising menu.
Food choices include Thai Peanut Brussels Sprouts, BBQ Pulled Beef Sliders and Lemon & Lime Black Pepper Wings. Barbacoa Beef Queso and Cheesecake Dip will also be available.
Special drinks include the Last Call Dragonrita, Orange Cream Soda and Spiced Yuzu Soda.
Limited-edition Hard Rock Rising merchandise arrives Aug. 17. The collection includes a campaign shirt featuring all 34 participating countries.
For Las Vegas artists, the competition offers more than a night on stage. It gives local musicians a chance to build an audience, gain exposure and compete for a major opportunity in the music industry.
