LAS VEGAS — Awakening, the large-scale production that brought elaborate puppetry, aerial performances and cutting-edge stage technology to Wynn Las Vegas, will take its final bow on October 10.
The closing will end a nearly four-year run for one of the Strip’s most ambitious productions. Awakening opened in November 2022 inside the custom-designed Awakening Theater, taking over the space once occupied by Le Rêve.
For Las Vegas entertainment fans, the announcement marks the loss of another major production created specifically for the Strip.
A $120 Million Las Vegas Production
Awakening reportedly cost about $120 million to develop and launch. Wynn designed the production as a new generation of theatrical entertainment that combined technology with traditional stagecraft.
The show featured a cast of 60 international artists. Audiences watched aerialists, dancers, acrobats and other performers move through an immersive theater built around a 360-degree stage.
Oscar-winning actor Anthony Hopkins provided narration for the production. Acclaimed designer Michael Curry brought another dimension to the show through large-scale puppetry and imaginative characters.
An Extraordinary Team Behind the Curtain
The performers represented only part of what made Awakening possible each night. A large crew worked behind the scenes on lighting, sound, costumes, automation, rigging and special effects.
That work often remained invisible to audiences. However, the precision required to operate such a technically demanding production became part of what made Awakening unique.
The show underwent changes during its run as Wynn worked to strengthen the production and connect with a wider Las Vegas audience.
Final Performances Run Through October 10
Fans still have several weeks to experience Awakening before the curtain falls for the final time.
The October 10 closing gives visitors and Las Vegas residents one last opportunity to see a production that pushed the boundaries of what a Strip theater could deliver.
For the cast and crew, the final performance will also close a significant chapter that began almost four years ago.
Wynn Already Planning Its Next Production
The end of Awakening does not mean the end of large-scale entertainment inside the theater.
Wynn says a new production is already under development and is expected to debut in 2027. Details about the concept, cast and creative team have not yet been announced.
Until then, Awakening has one final run ahead. Its departure will leave behind nearly four years of performances and the work of hundreds of artists, technicians and creative professionals who brought its world to life.

Awakening will continue performing at Wynn Las Vegas through October 10, 2026. Wynn is currently selling tickets for the remaining performances through its official website.
Ticket prices vary by performance date, seating level and availability, so I would not publish a fixed starting price unless Wynn lists one for the specific date. The theater offers several seating levels and an official seating map to help guests select their preferred view.
