LAS VEGAS — The Plaza Hotel & Casino has officially opened a new High Limit Slots Room, adding a more private gaming experience in downtown Las Vegas.

Located on the main casino floor, the room offers higher betting limits, personal service and several modern conveniences. The new attraction also strengthens the Plaza’s growing collection of gaming and hospitality options.

More Than 50 High-Limit Slot Games

The 2,000-square-foot room features more than 50 state-of-the-art slot machines. Players can choose from several popular themes featuring higher maximum bets.

The Plaza gave the room a classic Las Vegas atmosphere. Rich, dark colors, gold Art Deco details and plush furniture create a comfortable setting. Meanwhile, a lounge area gives guests a place to relax and watch sporting events.

Personalized Service for Plaza Players

Personal service remains an important part of the new High Limit Slots Room. Dedicated staff members assist players throughout the day and night.

Top-tier Plaza Rewards members can also check into their hotel rooms without leaving the gaming area. In addition, a concierge desk can arrange reservations at Oscar’s Steakhouse, request hotel upgrades and reserve cabanas at the Plaza’s rooftop pool.

Casino hosts can also recommend entertainment and attractions throughout downtown Las Vegas. Dedicated cocktail servers provide service around the clock. Guests can enjoy complimentary chilled nonalcoholic beverages from a self-service station.

Cashless Gaming and Faster Payouts

Technology adds another level of convenience. Every machine supports Acres Cashless Gaming, which works with Apple Pay and other electronic payment methods.

Unattended jackpot technology can speed up eligible payouts. Moreover, players have access to a private ATM and ticket-in, ticket-out redemption machine inside the room.

Plaza CEO Jonathan Jossel said the property wanted to offer popular games, higher limits and more personal attention. He cited growth in the casino’s slot business and requests from longtime Plaza customers.

Plaza Celebrates the Grand Opening

The Plaza will celebrate with a $10,000 slot tournament on Friday, Aug. 28, and Saturday, Aug. 29. The casino organized the tournament in partnership with Travel Ruby.

Players who earn at least 1,000 slot points inside the room can also enter for a chance to win a Virgin Cruise Experience for two.

The High Limit Slots Room remains open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. As a result, visitors can experience the new gaming area at any time during their stay.

The Plaza Hotel & Casino stands at 1 Main Street near the Fremont Street Experience. The historic downtown Las Vegas property first opened in 1971.
